Don’t Trust the Dog

A social game for 5-8 players. Inspired by the 1923 short story ‘The Oracle of the Dog’ by G. K. Chesterton.

Don’t Trust the Dog is a game of passing information among those who cannot be trusted. Players are either innocent witnesses to the murder of Colonel Druce, or are the murderer and their accomplice having committed the crime itself.

The witnesses want to correctly pass on as much information as possible in order to solve the murder that took place. The murderer and the accomplice want to obscure and/or listen in on as much of the information as possible, in order to get away with the crime.
